Matthew 25:35 Foundation
Matthew 25:35 Foundation

THE MATTHEW 25:35 FOUNDATION is a 501C public not for profit foundation that I started in 2002. Through prayer and seeking the Lord and being inspired by the book, GOD OWNS MY BUSINESS, I was motivated to start giving away houses I purchased to help fund or possibly build an orphanage in a third world country. It is a public foundation which allows donations from others beside myself. Since 2002 I have traveled to Guyana and Ecuador, South America, the Mexico City Garbage Dumps and Liberia, Africa. Donations have been made in all four countries by the foundation to numerous orphanages, churches and families. Donations have been made in the US in extreme situations and to widows and fatherless children.

The name Matthew 25:35 has been taken from scripture and is the story of judgment day when the King will say to those on His right, “ Come you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat...” Please read Matthew 25: 31- 46 for complete text. Then the righteous will answer Him, “ Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty...” The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Scripture is clear and states repeatedly that we as Christians should feed and help the poor, the defenseless, and the widow. That is the desire and mission of this ministry.

It is my dream and vision to raise over 1 million dollars in the next 10 years. Without the Lord behind my feeble attempt it will be impossible. It is my belief that He will direct who He wants to read this and He will move upon the hearts of those He would have take action. I will make my effort to be faithful and do what I feel God is leading me to do. My dream and efforts will amount to very little each time I step out of God’s will. If my motive is pure He will forgive me and gently bring me back under His will. So please understand that I will make mistakes. Maybe I am being too forward right now in making these statements and even sharing about what this foundation and I do. It is not my intention to let people know what I am doing but what the Lord is doing through me and to draw attention to the need and give people an opportunity to participate.

In Liberia a family’s welfare can be dramatically changed for as little as $500. The average household  income in Liberia is around $150 US. That’s about 50 cents a day which buys a cup of rice. An orphanage of 500 children can be fed for $300 a day and one child’s life and welfare dramatically changed for about $28 a month.

My goal is to use my business to bring attention to these needs and receive any donations possible. People can donate property and cash. We will be periodically sending containers by ship to the orphanage in Liberia in which we can take automobiles, computers, copiers, furniture etc as donations. As always all donations will be tax deductible. Right before I left for Africa I sold two properties to an attorney from California who generously donated $500 for medical supplies. I have photos, video and contact names for anyone interested in more information on Liberia and others ministries that you can review before considering a donation.

Another service I want to provide is the ability to take anyone interested on a Life Changing one week Mission Trip. Every trip I have been on has further changed and shaped my life and has been fun and very educational. With no exception the people, missionaries, volunteer workers and the Nationals have been a pleasure to meet and they have become new life long friends. Want to see how 80% of the rest of the world lives, have fun and enjoy an experience of a lifetime? Call me for more info on how you can help change someone’s life. In doing so it will change  your life and make it a richer one eternally.
